Concepción Naval and Rosario Reparaz, dean and professor, respectively, of the School of the University of Navarra, have participated in the study "La participación de las familias en la escolar". Education and Psychology of the University of Navarra, have participated in the study "La participación de las familias en la Education escolar", promoted by the committee Escolar del Estado.

The work, available in digital version, has brought together three groups of researchers led by professors Rosario Reparaz, from the University of Navarra, Joaquín Parra, from the University of Murcia, and María Castro, from the Complutense University of Madrid, and coordinated by José Luís Gaviria, from the Complutense University of Madrid.

The first chapter of the study includes the main conclusions derived both from the theoretical part and from the six empirical programs of study developed specifically for this purpose. And, on this solid base, it makes recommendations addressed to the main actors of family participation in the school environment, i.e., educational administrations, schools and families themselves. The second chapter provides a set of reflections that look towards the future of participation, its context and its requirements.

The text, which is intended to be informative, "will contribute to facilitate the dissemination of the work and increase its accessibility, based on the well-founded conviction that we are facing a phenomenon that can and must advance, without any doubt, the quality of our Education". From it are derived a set of recommendations for educational administrations, for schools and for the families themselves.
