First and second year students of Degree in Management Assistant have carried out 19 projects in partnership with companies in the construction and industrial sector based in Navarra and Gipuzkoa. The presentation of the works will take place on Thursday, December 5, and will be attended by Carlos Achaerandio, engineer and expert in Lean Office and Lean Manufacturing, who will deliver a lecture focused on how to improve productivity in the field of office management in order to make the most of the processes.

The execution of these 19 projects, in which a hundred students have participated, has allowed them to learn about the role of the assistant manager and the businessprofile of these ten companies based in Navarra and Gipuzkoa. They are Ulma Handling Systems, Orona, CAF, Irizar, Nordex Energy Spain, Guardian Insdustries Navarra S.L., Abaigar, VDR Mutilva S.L., Erro y Eugui and Obras Especiales.

The projects carried out by the first year students are based on the management of offices and the second year students on the management quality and environmental systems.

This work is the first of seven that will be carried out by first-year students throughout the degree program, and the third for second-year students, as part of the project-based learning methodology implemented last year. The purpose of this methodology, which is based on learning by doing, is for students to acquire the knowledge and skills demanded by companies and the working world of the 21st century from the first year. Throughout the four courses, students will develop projects based on sectors such as food, attendance health, automotive, banking, communication, distribution, energy, pharmaceutical, industrial, fashion, tourism or transport, among others.
