More than 300 students seek opportunities in the bio-health sector

A workshop for the promotion of employment at the University.

The University of Navarra hosted the third Sector Focused Career Fair 2015, aimed at promoting university employment . This sectorial workshop , focused on the biosanitary sector, has counted with the participation of 11 national and international companies and more than 300 university students

The workshop, organized by Fundación business-Universidad de Navarra, began with a roundtable in which university students, academics and professionals from the biosanitary sector shared their impressions on the most in-demand profiles. The participating companies have highlighted perseverance, human value and the transversal competences and capacities of the candidates as ingredients core topic for professional success.

In addition, university students were able to leave their CVs and introduce themselves to professionals from companies such as GSK, Laboratorios Cinfa, CIMA, Johnson & Johnson, 3P Biopharmaceuticals and Dynakin in a space set up for networking.

Attendees also participated in a Focus Group with international companies such as Leatherhead Food Research and National Physical Laboratory from the United Kingdom and AkzoNobel from the Netherlands.

The workshop has ended with the presentation of GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), sponsor of the event. The pharmaceutical company emphasized that at the University of Navarra it has found university students "very interested, mature when it comes to making themselves known to companies and capable of transmitting their enthusiasm".

The next workshop, focused on the Industry, Distribution and FMCG sector, will take place next Thursday, February 12, at Amigos Building.
