School of Architecture joins association Madrid World Capital of Construction, Engineering and Architecture (MWCC)

This agreement enables partner companies and institutions to offer internships to students of the Master's Degree programs offered by the School in Madrid.

Last January the School of Architecture of the University of Navarra and the association Madrid World Capital of Construction, Engineering and Architecture (MWCC) signed a agreement membership agreement whereby the School becomes an academic partner of the entity, which includes agents of the public administration, companies, foundations/associations, technological institutes and universities.

In the framework of this agreement, the students of the programs Master's Degree that the School offers in Madrid will be able to carry out their final projects Master's Degree and academic internships in the different entities and companies that make up the MWCC. To do so, these companies must register, through the following form.

This possibility is open to current students of the Master's Degree University Qualifying Course in Architecture (MUA) and the Master's Degree in design and management Environmental Building (MDGAE). Also, next year, those taking the new Master's Degree in Real Estate Strategy and Business/Master's Degree in Real Estate (MRE) will foreseeably join the program.

The internship -which selection process will be held in March- is carried out by means of a partnership agreement. In that framework, interns are insured by the University with accident and civil liability policies. All internships are curricular, which makes core topic the partnership of the tutor of the business.

Likewise, the final projects of Master's Degree of the three postgraduate programs -which are characterized by their high technical demands- have been focused, in recent years, precisely in Madrid. Some of their works have been finalists in prestigious competitions such as the Young Talent Architecture Award.

Madrid World Capital of Construction, Engineering and Architecture has as goal contribute to the integral development of the engineering, construction and architecturesector in Spain, enabling the improvement of the reputation, competitiveness, international influence and the ability to attract talent and investment of the city of Madrid, as well as its sense of belonging. 

The association currently has important companies in the sector, educational centers, public administrations and business associations.
