A researcher from IESE, University of Navarra, third most prolific on business ethics in the world
The University of Navarra is ranked sixth in the world by the Journal of Business Ethics
Antonio Argandoña, professor at IESE Business School, University of Navarra, is the third most prolific author in the world at research on business ethics. This is according to a recent article of the Journal of Business Ethics, "Business Ethics Research: A Global Perspective," which also quotation the business school professor Domènec Melé (15th in the world).
The ranking analyzes work researcher of authors and universities over a ten-year period (1999-2008). The University of Navarra, to which IESE belongs, is ranked sixth in the world.
The article notes that 43 of the 100 institutions in the ranking are located outside the United States, suggesting that business ethics has in recent years become a global phenomenon, recognized around the world. In fact, the scholars cited by the Journal of Business Ethics reflect as many as 67 nationalities. The authors of article, Kam C. Chan, Hung-Gay Fung and Jot Yau, also highlight the good momentum of research on business ethics.
