In the framework its 70th anniversary, the School of Nursing of the University of Navarra reinforces its commitment to the training and professional development of nurses with the awarding of 12 scholarships to reference letter hospitals in the Community of Madrid: Hospital Universitario Niño Jesús, Hospital Universitario Puerta de hierro Majadahonda, Hospital Universitario Ramón y Cajal, Hospital Universitario Gregorio Marañón , Hospital Universitario La Paz , Hospital Universitario San Carlos, Hospital 12 de Octubre, Hospital Universitario de Móstoles, HM Hospitales, Hospital Universitario La Princesa,Hospital Universitario Infanta Sofía and Hospital Universitario Infanta Leonor.
Since 1954, the School has trained more than 8,000 professionals practicing all over the world, under the motto"Another way of being, another way of doing". For 7 decades, the School 's commitment to research, excellence in internship and care for the individual have motivated the School in the development of its programs.
These scholarships will allow access to the Master's Degree in Advanced internship in Oncology Nursing, with the goal of promoting nursing leadership, innovation and specialization in the field of oncology care.

Master's Degree in internship Advanced Nursing in Oncology
The Master's Degree in Advanced internship in Oncology Nursing of the University of Navarra is an official and face-to-face program, unique in its category. It offers a comprehensive training that combines theory and internship, allowing students to apply the knowledge acquired in prestigious clinical settings in the Community of Madrid.
Throughout its editions, the Master's Degree has welcomed professionals with heterogeneous profiles that enrich the educational quality of the classroom. Navidad Canga and Nuria Esandi, director of the Master's Degree and vice-dean of research and postgraduate program, emphasize that this official program trains professionals specialized in oncology, capable of generating continuous improvement in the attention and care of oncology patients and their families. To this end, it combines advanced knowledge with expert clinical internship and research, resulting in knowledge of clinical management , evidence-based decision making and specialized care for complex patients.
This advanced training enables graduates to lead changes and improvements in the healthcare environment (especially in oncology), responding efficiently and humanistically to new health needs.
Almudena Canales, Alumni of the third graduating class, highlights: "I am a staff nurse in Oncology and I finished the degree program three years ago. On a day-to-day basis, I have the care vision of the ward, but the Master's Degree has allowed me to go beyond that and see the clinical internship from a more global perspective. Now I have tools that I apply in my daily work , which financial aid me to look at the patient, the hospital, the team and the family in a different way, with a broader and more complete vision".
