Students from School Pharmacy and Nutrition participate in the Symposium of the association Spanish Industry Pharmacists.
The students of the Master's Degree in design Galenic and Manufacturing in the Pharmaceutical Industry presented several papers at the meeting that gathered 350 representatives of health administrations, university and industry.
8 students of the Master's Degree in design Galenic and Manufacturing in the Pharmaceutical Industry of the School of Pharmacy and Nutrition have participated in the 39th Symposium of the association Spanish Industry Pharmacists(AEFI), which was held in Barcelona on March 14 and 15. They presented three papers in poster format and one oral communication.
Under the slogan "Trazados y en contact frente a los nuevos retos", the scientific meeting was attended by nearly 350 representatives of the different health administrations, universities and industry, who addressed issues of growing interest at area industrial, regulatory and innovation.
Brexit, the serialization and verification of medicines and the new regulations on medical devices were the subject of the discussion in this meeting organized by the AEFI, association non-profit organization that brings together professionals working in the field of the pharmaceutical industry, institutions or entities linked to the pharmaceutical and health sector (drugs, cosmetics, food, medicinal plants, medical devices, etc.).
In addition, current topics such as nanotechnology applied to food, nanomedicine, the impact of e-commerce in the self-care sector, cosmetovigilance or the latest developments in clinical Genetics and the irruption of companion diagnostics were also analyzed during these days.
