Experts from Italy, France, Germany, USA, and Spain participate in an ICS seminar on natural law.
Nature and Law: Ancient and Modern Perspectives' is organized by the project 'Natural Law and Rationality internship'
Experts from academic centers in Italy, France, Germany, USA and Spain will participate on June 5 and 6 in the seminar 'Nature and Law: Ancient and Modern Perspectives', organized by theorganized by the project 'Natural Law and Rationality internship' of the Institute for Culture and Society (ICS) of the University of Navarra.
On the 5th, Erick Jiménez, from project of the ICS, will speak with the discussion paper 'Hobbes on Natural Equality'; Claudia Baracchi, from the Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca (Italy), who will speak on 'The Politics of Nature'; and Yves-Charles Zarka, from the Université Paris Descartes (France), whose lecture is entitled 'Pascal et l'interprétation de la nature'.
Also on the program for day 6 will be Christoph Horn, from Universität Bonn (Germany): 'Aristotle on the Legal and Moral Aspects of the Law'; and Terry Pinkard, from Georgetown University (USA): 'What is the Negative Dialectic?'.
