Nursing students visit the Laguna Care Center Hospital
Both centers have been collaborating since the 2011-2012 academic year in the Master's Degree University in Palliative Care.
A dozen final-year nursing students from the University of Navarra, together with the Vice-Dean Inmaculada Serrano and the manager of Admissions Office Cristina Terroba, visited the Hospital Centro de Cuidados Laguna, with which the University maintains a partnership agreement to teach the Master's Degree in Palliative Care.
Those responsible for the center, including the director care, Javier Rocafort, and the director of training, Fermín Mínguez, showed the students the facilities and explained the different care services provided by the hospital. The visit was completed with a session on the future role of nursing in palliative care, at position by hospital nurses and professors at Master's Degree, Elena Carrascal (assistant director of nursing at the Hospital Centro de Cuidados Laguna) and Encarnación Pérez (coordinator of the Center for training and research).
Professionals Teresa place and María Salas, alumna and student of the current edition of Master's Degree, respectively, offered their vision staff of the program.
