The School of Architecture inaugurates the new Library Services after the refurbishment carried out over the last few months. Some of the changes that have been carried out in this space are the installation of new shelves, tables and chairs, the adaptation of the lighting and the creation of an area reserved for professors and doctoral students.
The Library Services of Architecture has a collection of more than 12,000 volumes and more than 200 specialized magazines in print and online. According to Marga García Bajo, librarian of this school, "the classification system has been simplified and the main novelty is that the collection has been made freely accessible to all users".
In addition, she anticipated that "it is expected to be able to implement next year the radiofrequency system in books and self-loaning, which are already in operation in the Science Library".
