Nursing Summer School 2018 kicks off at School de Enfermería
34 students from six universities in the United Kingdom, the United States and the University of Navarra are participating in an international nursing program this week.

The School of Nursing of the University of Navarra has inaugurated the fifth edition of the Nursing Summer School. It is a program in English with the participation of 34 students from six universities in the United States such as Indiana University, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, University of Pennsylvania, University of Tennesse; and from the United Kingdom such as Birmingham City University. In addition, 12 students from the International Nursing Program of the University of Navarra are participating.
Under the degree scroll How can nurses promote healthy environments? the participating students will attend classes on the University of Navarra's Nursing model , the Spanish healthcare system, nursing in Spain and the promotion of healthy lifestyles in children. They will also visit the Clínica Universidad de Navarra and the Navarra Hospital Complex.
In the afternoons, attendees will enjoy cultural plans such as visit to the place de Toros de Pamplona, San Sebastian, the Franco-Españolas wineries and an afternoon of pintxos in Logroño.
The Nursing Summer School of the University of Navarra is a course aimed at students of Degree that aims to explore the challenges of Nursing today and compare different healthcare systems in a multicultural context. The program, which began in 2014 and is open to Nursing students from international academic centers, has each year a larger issue of participants willing to delve into different ways of understanding their future profession.
