"I have learned the differences between the Spanish and Scottish healthcare systems."
We collect the testimony of students from the University of Stirling who visited the School of Nursing.

Every year the School Nursing School welcomes international students who visit the academic center from universities around the world. The students spend several weeks in Pamplona where they have the opportunity to do an internship at the school, an experience difficult to forget. Clínica Universidad de Navarraan experience that will be hard to forget. Some students from the University of Stirling, Scotland, tell of their experience.
"During my time at the Clinic I have learned, above all, the differences between the Spanish and Scottish healthcare systems. I also found it very interesting to be able to visit the Navarra Hospital Complex". This is how Jennifer Walsh explains it and that is why, without any doubt, she would recommend other nursing students to participate in this program "as it gives the opportunity to explore other cultures and get an insider's view of how the healthcare sector works outside the UK".
For her part, Shona Flanagan says that the best thing about the program is being able to interact with students and professionals from the University of Navarra. "It has been very motivating and has allowed me to learn new methods from work from different people." Also, for her, one of the biggest challenges was the language. "I would suggest that there should be Spanish classes before starting the internship in order to get the most out of it."
Fellow student, Victoria Hutcheson, is at agreement. "The best thing has been meeting nursing students from another country. Getting to know their experiences, their training". Although she won't forget either, "the opportunity we've had to see surgical operations, I'm really grateful."
The School of Nursing of the University of Navarra has from this academic year a new agreement with the University of Stirling, which is added to the other thirteen agreements with international academic centers. The University of Stirling is a center of recognized international prestige considered by the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2014-2015 as one of the 350 best universities worldwide.
