ISSA School of Management Assistants professor, Mei -Hsin Chen, publishes Aesthetic Experience on the design product.

ISSA School of Management Assistants professor Mei-Hsin Chen has published Aesthetic Experience in the design product. It is a book whose main goal is to underline that the aesthetic refinement of an industrial product does not merely refer to the care of shapes and styles, but goes beyond appearance.

According to Professor Chen, aesthetics is fundamentally related to the sensory experience of Username, something that is reflected in the form, functionality, material, color, finish, usability and sustainability of the product: "It is a holistic experience that begins with the definition of the concept and ends with the imprint it leaves on our life and environment."

The document is mainly addressed to young professionals and students coming from or interested in design of products, innovation and its aesthetic issues in a internship and empirical way.

degree scroll Professor Mei-Hsin Chen received her Ph.D. degree from the University of Navarra, Spain ( Philosophy ) and her Ph.D. degree from the University of Navarra, Spain (Art History program). She later specialized in the theory and aesthetics of design. He taught at Taipei National University of Fine Arts and School of Design of Shih Chien University (Taipei, Taiwan). He currently teaches Service Management, Style and Enterprise, Images and Culture and The Legacy of the Craftsmanship in Design at the University of Navarra.
