The European Commission endorses excellence in research of Cima University of Navarra

The Cima University of Navarra has obtained the'HR Excellence in Research' seal, a distinction awarded by the European Commission to those institutions committed to generating an attractive, inclusive and supportive environment for researcher at development of their professional degree program .

Specifically, this award accredits the commitment of Cima to constantly improve the recruitment of staff researcher and its conditions of work, training, management, responsibility and support in the transfer of knowledge. "This seal is a recognition of our commitment to a research of excellence, a commitment that involves strengthening the research degree program of our scientists as a guarantee that has an impact on the innovation of new therapeutic proposals for patients," says the director of Cima, María Pilar Civeira. "At the same time, it helps to position us at European level and reinforces our commitment to attracting and retaining talent researcher", she adds.

This recognition is the result of the adhesion of Cima to the European strategy to improve researcher recruitment policies ('Human Resources Strategy for Researchers'- HRS4R), of agreement to the principles established in the European Charter of researcher and the Code of Conduct for Recruitment, documents created by the European Commission to promote the degree program researcher in the European Union.

Currently, 605 organizations in Europe have received this award certificate. In Spain, 141 institutions have obtained it, of which 50 are foundations and biomedical research centers. 

About Cima University of Navarra

The Cima is the research center of the Clínica Universidad de Navarra. The scientific goal of its more than 370 professionals is to address current clinical problems and propose the most effective treatment for each patient.
