COVID-19 and much more at Science, Technology and Innovation Weeks
The Cima participates in this informative activity with two conferences on hepatitis C and the present and future of vaccines against coronavirus.
Once again, the Cima University of Navarra is present at the celebration of the Science, Technology and Innovation Weeks, organized to bring scientific activity closer to society with different initiatives.
Drs. Cristian Smerdou and Xonia Carvajal inaugurated the Science Week with a talk on pandemics and coronaviruses to ESO students at high school La presentation FESD, Villava. On the other hand, in addition to experimentation in schools, our researchers will participate in the lecture series of the Science Museum of the University of Navarra, where they will present the latest advances in their lines of research research.
On Friday 13, Dr. Josepmaria Argemí, researcher of the Hepatology Program at Cima, will give the lecture "Hepatitis C: an eradicated disease? On Thursday 19, Dr. Pablo Sarobe, researcher of the Immunology and Immunotherapy Program at Cima, will speak on "COVID19 Vaccines: present and future". These two sessions will be held in person at 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium of the Sciences Building and can also be followed online through the Science Museum's YouTube channel.
Science Week in NavarraScience Week in Navarra is an initiative organized by the Friends of Science Club together with the Public University of Navarra, the University of Navarra and the Pamplona Planetarium.
For this edition, the University of Navarra Science Museum is supported by the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT), as well as other institutions such as Laboral Kutxa, Cima of Navarra, the Egüés Valley City Council, the National Autonomous University of Mexico, and the School of Science the University of Navarra.
