The University will offer 250 new grants and scholarships for students from Degree in the next academic year 2025-26.
The academic center will promote a new aid program and increase the Alumni Scholarships fund for first-year students.

The University of Navarra will offer 250 new grants and scholarships for first-year students in the 2025-26 academic year. This measure involves 1.3 million euros, which will be channeled through a new aid program and an increase in Alumni Scholarships.
The proposal responds to the strategicgoal of having more scholarships and resources, as already announced by president, María Iraburu, at the beginning of this academic year 2024-2025. It was also one of the l ines of work highlighted by theEducation Transformational axis of Strategy 2025. "The University wants the scholarships available to our students to continue to increase," explained María Iraburu. "Firstly, for consistency: the University aspires to be accessible to all, and that any talented and motivated student has the opportunity to study here. Secondly, because students are the most valuable thing we have and the ultimate meaning of our work, true drivers of academic life. Finally, because of the impact on society, as the alumni who have received a scholarship transform the world with their professionalism and their willingness to help others and serve the common good."
New grant program and more Alumni Scholarships
The new "University of Navarra" aid program is aimed at students with a grade average of high school diploma equal to or higher than 7 and a family income per capita equal to or lower than 25,000 euros. The allocation of aid will be made on the basis of the applications received and after a rigorous analysis of the family's financial need.
In addition, plans are underway to increase the funding for the Alumni Scholarships program. Since 2004, this program has helped nearly 2,000 talented students to study at the University programs of study . Its requirements are: a per capita family income equal to or less than 20,000 euros, a grade average of high school diploma equal to or higher than 8.5 and a commitment to participate in the educational and extracurricular activities of the Alumni scholarship program.
In the last academic year, 429 Alumni Scholarships were granted, for a value of 3,692,523 euros. In addition, the University allocated 16.03 million euros to aid for students from Degree (66% of them received some subject from financial aid), including different types of bonuses such as those for large family, honorary tuition or the incentive plan, among others. The 1.3 million budgeted is in addition to these funds.
