Professor Ana Mª Fernández discusses emotional communication on Facebook during a symposium in Amsterdam
More than 700 people participated in the VI International congress of Spanish for Specific Purposes (CIEFE) held on March 31 and April 1.

congress On March 31 and April 1 , ISSA School of Management Assistants professor Ana Mª Fernández-Vallejo participated in the VI International Symposium on Spanish for Specific Purposes (CIEFE) held in Amsterdam. The symposium, focused on 'Spanish language for professional innovation', was attended by 700 people.
During the event, the professor of Written and Oral Communication of the Degree in Management Assistance presented the linguistic-discursive analysis of how emotions are expressed on the Facebook social network belonging to the company DÍA. The well-known retail group is the IBEX35 business with the highest issue of followers (674,662 as of April 6, 2017) and the third with the highest rate of interactions (16.05% of the total, agreement to the study presented by Epsilon Technologies in March 2016).
The congress Internacional de Español para Fines Específicos (CIEFE) has been organized since the year 2000 by the Consejería de Education of Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg, together with the University of Amsterdam and the high school Cervantes in Utrecht. According to Professor Ferández-Vallejo "congresses such as CIEFE are essential for the exchange of experiences of researchers in the field of Spanish for specific purposes and teachers of Spanish as a foreign language language ".
Likewise, the expert highlighted that "they make it possible to establish an international framework for the knowledge dissemination of recent research, exchange didactic experiences, review the state of Spanish for specific purposes and promote actions aimed at boosting the development of Spanish as a vehicle for professional relations".
