The School of Sciences organizes a session on employment opportunities

alumni from the Masters in Biodiversity, research Biomedical and Chemistry Applied have shared their experience after completing the postgraduate program

A total of 70 students from the School of Sciences and seven professionals from the sector, as well as professors and course coordinators, participated in a new workshop on employment opportunities, organized at partnership with the Foundation business -University of Navarra (FEUN). On this occasion, as a novelty, the program has counted with the testimonies of alumni of the three masters offered by the School (Biodiversity, Landscapes and Sustainable management ; research Biomedical; and Chemistry Applied to research and Industry), about their experience during the postgraduate program and their subsequent incorporation into the working world.

The sessions, given by professors and those in charge of Careers Office, were aimed at provide students with information on the different alternatives to follow once they have completed the Degree and the licentiate degree. Thus, on the one hand, the offer of master's degrees and their financing methods were presented and, on the other hand, guidelines were given for the search of employment through the University's stock exchange and the Internet.

The workshop was completed with a roundtable in which professionals from the sector (biologists, biochemists and chemists) shared their business experience with the students. Participants included: Javier Aguirre, director from GIR Eco Innovación; María Olaso, from laboratory de análisis clínicos Analistas Asociados and laboratory Lafita; and Javier Bernácer, from group Mente-Cerebro (Institute for Culture and Society, University of Navarra). Also, from the chemical sector: Ana Vázquez, from Abedul Productos Farmacéuticos; María Llorente, from Bionanoplus; Mikel Echeverría, from group GVC-Gaesco; and Roberto Gracia, from Aceites La Maja.
