Tecnun students' entrepreneurship week at IESE Business School

Students are introduced to entrepreneurship through case studies and advice from experts.

In the last edition of the partnership week between Tecnun e IESE50 students - 38 from Tecnun and 12 from the School of Economics -were immersed in an intense experience of innovation and learning. The activity, led by entrepreneurship professor Mikel Arcelus, gave participants the opportunity to work on 11 case studies that addressed key issues for the business world, such as business models, marketing in the early stages, the entrepreneur's profile and different financing models.

The program included the participation of distinguished experts, among which the following stand out Juan Manuel de Toro y Paco IniestaIESE professors; Ibon IribarrenEMBA and Tecnun alumni; Iñigo IrizarIESE MBA alumni and Tecnun partner ; Isidoro Sanchez y Diego MuñozThe program's collaborators; and Rocío Elizaga, from ISEM.

Developing business ideas

Throughout the week, students were engaged in analyzing and developing innovative business solutions, demonstrating great effort in developing solid business models and sharing their ideas.

The highlight came on the last day of the activity, when the students presented their business ideas to a group of investors, who gave them excellent evaluations. Although most of the projects were focused on the development of mobile applications, there were also proposals related to engineering, such as an innovative device to alleviate migraines and a system of indicators for bicycles.

Mikel Arcelus is especially grateful for "the participation of all the academic staff involved, in particular Isidoro Gómez and Iñigo Irizar, who, in addition to collaborating in the program, acted as evaluators of the projects, contributing their experience and rigor in the evaluation each idea".
