'Causality and Manifestation in Medieval Neoplatonism' is the central topic of the volume issue 100 of the journal yearbook Filosófico, published by the department of Philosophy of the University of Navarra.

Professor María Jesús Soto-Bruna has directed this monographic issue , which is one of the most relevant results of the project of research "Las nociones de causalidad y manifestación como explicatio mundi. From Scotus Eriugena to M. Eckhart", financed by the Ministry of Science and Innovation.

"The thesis that runs through this issue of the magazine is summarized in the principle that causality unveils to us the mystery of being. Causality, in fact, understood as manifestation, sample the relationship between the first being, which is unity of simplicity, and the realities that proceed from it, being essential in this process that it is carried out through resemblance of what is derived with that from which it derives", explains Professor Soto-Bruna.

The articles, which address this question in the most relevant authors of the Middle Ages, have been written by various international specialists: Agnieszka Kijewska (Lublin, Poland), Elisabeth Reinhardt (Navarra), Laura Corso de Estrada (Buenos Aires), Alexander Fidora (Barcelona), Alice Ramos (New York) and Hervé Pasqua (Rennes, France).

yearbook Filosófico was born in 1968. It currently has a print run average of about 800 copies of each issue and 350 subscribers. The magazine, directed by Jaime Nubiola, launches with this volume issue 100 a new design.
