"The university is not only for studying, there are many activities that help us develop and learn, and sport is one of them. Being part of Sports Talent Program is an opportunity that I can't let slip away," says Paula de Juan Razkin, a 1st year student of Degree in Management Assistance and one of the 146 students who are part of this year's Sports Talent Program.

He says that sport is an "essential element" in his life: "It's my escape route. At least that's how it was during his school years. Until he reached the second year of high school diplomaBut he had to make a choice and opted for the latter, specifically in the specialization program 400-meter hurdles. "It was hard for me, I really liked both sports and I missed it. But the results he began to achieve on the track motivated him to continue with athletics.

He explains that "it is complicated to combine sport with programs of study" because "it requires many hours of training and dedication". He currently trains three days a week in Pamplona and another three in Tolosa. He also likes to spend time with his friends and family and, "even if it's only once in a while", to go out partying. "The core topic is in getting organized," he says.
