The School of Philosophy and Letters of the University of Navarra has Closed a agreement for its students to carry out internships during the summer of 2015 in the National Library and at the Royal Spanish Academy.

Through the Careers Office of the Foundation business University of Navarra (FEUN), the students of Degree and double Degree can apply for the internships in the companies with which the School has agreement, not only in summer, but also in some cases, during the second semester of the course and during the Easter period.

Publishers such as group Planetain Madrid and Barcelona, Acantilado (Barcelona) and Impedimenta (Madrid) are other destinations that a student of Philology, or of the double Degrees with Audiovisual Communication or Journalism, and of the Degree in Humanities can choose from.

The Museums of the Prado, Thyssen, University Museum of Navarra, Huarte Contemporary Art Center (Navarra), Fine Arts of Bilbao and others, will also welcome the students of Degree in History, Humanities or the double Degree in History and Journalism who request it. These students will also have the opportunity to do an internship at management cultural and heritage in the Navarrese monasteries of Iranzu and Leyre.

It is also worth mentioning the opportunity that the students of Degree of History have to collaborate in the archaeological excavations of Los Bañales. Los Bañales (Uncastillo-Zaragoza), Ondare Babesa (Vitoria-Gasteiz), Arqueopinto (Pinto, Madrid), or to do cataloging internships at the Archaeology Funds of the Government of Navarra.

Other companies with which School has agreements are: SEDENA (Civivox), the City of Music, CIVICAN or the Spanish Transition Foundation.

Selection Processes

In the coming weeks, the selection processes for summer internships in Spanish embassies and other international institutions will be opened.

FEUN signs agreements with collaborating companies and institutions so that students have adequate legal coverage during their internships. In the case of students who complete the subject elective subject internship, these are recognized at Study program.

For the 2014-15 academic year, the number of places available has been increased by 30%. The selection processes have already begun.
