The Institute for Culture and Society (ICS), the research center in Humanities and social sciences of the University of Navarra, has organized the informative talk 'Frustration and drug use'. The activity, aimed at the general public, will take place at 19 h. in the Casa de Cultura Fray Diego de Estella (Monday, December 14), Civivox Mendillorri (Tuesday, December 15), Civivox Condestable (Wednesday, December 16), Civivox San Jorge (Thursday, December 17) and Civican (Friday, December 18).

In the talk, researchers from the University of Navarra Francisco Güell and David Ramírez will reveal some keys of a work of research that they are carrying out in partnership with the Foundation project Hombre on the relationship between frustration and the withdrawal of the therapeutic treatment and relapse in people with addiction problems. The project seeks to achieve more effective therapeutic strategies.

Francisco Güell is researcher of group 'Mind-brain' of the ICS. He is graduate in Biological Sciences and in Philosophy and Letters, and PhD in Philosophy. He has made stays of research at centers in the USA, UK and Chile, including Stanford University, Georgetown University and King's College London.

David Ramirez is partner of group 'Mente-cerebro' and staff of financial aid professor and researcher at training in the School of Education and Psychology of the University of Navarra. He is graduate in Psychology, holds a Master's Degree of specialization program in Clinical Psychology and is accredited as a General Health Psychologist by the Ministry of Health.  

The talk, organized by the group 'Mente-cerebro' of the ICS, is financed by the Caja Navarra Foundation and with the partnership of project Hombre Navarra and the School of Education and Psychology of the University of Navarra.
