The group of Granular Media of the University of Navarra has organized between May 20 and 22 the third meeting 'network of physics of non-equilibrium systems' which will bring together more than 30 physicists from different Spanish cities and whose central topic will be the study of systems formed by particles at very different scales (granular media, colloids, etc.) and their collective behaviors when they are out of equilibrium.

This network is funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation and is supported by high school of Physics and department of Physics and Applied Mathematics of the University of Navarra. The meeting will be held at the Science Library Building and is intended to be a forum for discussion of some of the latest theoretical, numerical and experimental advances in this field.

Although the format of the meeting has the appearance of a standard congress , the lectures to be given will focus on general aspects of the subject matter proposal with special emphasis on possible future developments, as well as possible interaction between groups.

Among the participants in this third meeting are Andrés Santos, María Isabel García, Ricardo Brito, Wenceslao González, Raúl Cruz, José María Ortiz de Zárate, Antonio Manuel Puertas, Vicente Garzó, Antonio Fernández Barbero, Cristina Gómez Polo, Cecilia Wolluschek, Antonio Astillero, Ángel Garciamartín, Álvaro Domínguez and Diego Maza.
