The second edition of the General Dictionary of Canon Lawpromoted by the School of Canon Law of the University of Navarra and published by the publishing house Thomson Reuters/Aranzadi. The first edition was launched in January 2013.
The Dictionary contains 2509 words, of which 2118 have content and 391 are mere references, written by 582 authors. It consists of seven volumes of 1,200 pages each.
The School of Canon Law has been working for years on the elaboration of the General Dictionary of Canon Law, under the coordination and direction of professors Javier Otaduy, Antonio Viana and Joaquín Sedano.
It is aimed at a wide audience, interested in religious matters and in subjects with a strong impact on cultural dialogue. Its natural users will logically be those who are dedicated to Canon Law, both academic and forensic.
