A graduate in Biology with entrepreneurial initiative
Raúl Pilar Garcés is one of the promoters of the farm school Gure Sustraiak, awarded as an entrepreneurial initiative by the readers of Diario de Navarra.
student School Raúl Pilar Garcés, co-founder of the farm school Gure Sustraiak, has been one of the finalists of award Young Entrepreneur 2011 of Navarra, organized by AJE Navarra (association of Young Entrepreneurs).
At competition the initiative of graduate in Biology received the Recognition for Entrepreneurial Work thanks to the votes of the readers of Diario de Navarra. Raúl Pilar Garcés thanked them for the support received, together with his four partners, for a project that they launched with the goal to promote sustainable tourism activities and partner-educational activities in their farm school and the tourist hostel they manage in the Ollo Valley (Navarra). Their programs are aimed at schoolchildren, families and the general public, especially groups of people with disabilities.
According to the former student of Sciences, his project was born 10 years ago and little by little they have managed to create new jobs work with a current investment project of one and a half million euros. In this sense, he wanted to encourage all young people "not to be afraid to undertake and realize their dreams".
Precisely with this goal Raúl Pilar Garcés and his partners have presented the project for the construction of a new shelter adapted for people with disabilities that will include two buildings with accommodation, workshops and playrooms, dining room, garden area, etc. In addition, this shelter will use renewable energies and will have an integrated faecal waste management , as explained by the biologist.
