The work presented by Mónica Vázquez evaluates the Degree satisfaction with the care offered from the area nursing department, taking into account different perspectives to identify areas for improvement in the Cardiology Unit, where it has been carried out. To this end, 133 questionnaires were collected from patients, 16 from nurses and six from assistants. The questionnaires asked them to evaluate the quality of care based on three dimensions: attention, accessibility and skill.

The overall score average of the evaluation of the three areas was 9.24 for patients, 8.5 for nurses and 8.1 for assistants. "Therefore, patient satisfaction and the perception of staff were positive," the author clarifies. "By dimensions," she adds, "the attention was the highest rated item. This is probably due to the fact that the Clinic places special emphasis on human closeness and personalized care".

On the other hand, Mónica Vázquez points out that one of the aspects for improvement refers to the information received by the patient after discharge: "In this regard, a program educational has been developed for planning the discharge of patients undergoing cardiac surgery, the implementation of which will be evaluated".
