Students from the University of Navarra organize a congress on geopolitics and strategy.

Josep Piqué, Emilio Lamo de Espinosa, Marta Blanco and Jorge Calvet are some of the guest speakers at meeting, which will take place on the 15th and 16th.

Relations between China and the United States, the future of nuclear energy, social movements in Latin America and the Spanish military system are some of the topics to be addressed in a congress on geopolitics and strategy organized by students at the University. The quotation will take place on September 15 and 16 in the theater of the University of Navarra Museum.

The meeting, which has the support of the Princess of Girona Foundation, will bring together leading figures from the fields of politics, diplomacy, Economics or business, with the goal to discuss and reflect on the major issues that will mark"The World Ahead", degree scroll of congress.

The sessions will be given by Emilio Lamo de Espinosa, Full Professor emeritus of Sociology at the Complutense University of Madrid and former president of the Real high school Elcano; Josep Piqué, former Minister of Science and Technology, Foreign Affairs and Industry and Energy of the Government of Spain; Bruno Navarro Rousseau-Dumarcet, first sergeant of Infantry with more than 20 years of service in different Special Operations Units; or Eleonora Viezzer, professor at the University of Seville, where she develops her research in the field of nuclear fusion.

Also speaking will be Marta Blanco, president of CEOE International and Spanish representative at the G20's network Empower; Colonel José Pardo de Santayana y Gómez de Olea, coordinator of research and senior analyst at high school Español de programs of study Estratégicos; Beatriz de León Cobo, researcher specializing in security, violent radicalization and management of conflicts in West Africa and Europe; José Antonio García Belaúnde, diplomat at degree program and former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Peru between 2006 and 2011; Jorge Calvet, former CEO of Gamesa; and Antonio Manzanera, General Manager de Atracción y development de Talento.
