Eight students from Ecuador, Spain, France, Mexico and Peru make up the second graduating class of the Master's Degree in research in Social Sciences at the University of Navarra. The program, accredited by the National Agency for Assessment of Quality and Accreditation, is coordinated by the Institute for Culture and Society and has the direct partnership of Schools of Communication, Law, Education and Psychology, Nursing, and Philosophy and Letters.
Three students have received a scholarship from the Social Trends Institute; two have received incentive grants from the University; and one has received a scholarship from the University of Navarra-group Santander. María José Martínez Quesada, for her part, has covered half of the enrollment thanks to the first award of the essay 'Challenges of today's world' Contest, organized by the Master's Degree.
The MICS is offered as a gateway to entrance for students who wish to enter the interdisciplinary research in the social sciences. Its training program allows students to specialize in six tracks: Communication, Geography, Linguistics, Education, Law and Nursing.
