The University of Navarra is holding the 3rd Children against Cancer degree program this Sunday.
The "degree program of the Brave", which raises funds for children's cancer treatment and research, already has more than a thousand registered participants.
This Sunday, February 17, the Sports Service of the University of Navarra celebrates the third edition of "La degree program de los Valientes" in which there are already more than a thousand registered participants.
The start of the solidarity cross will take place at the sports center of the academic center at 11:00, 11:20 and 12:00 hours, for children under 10 years old, between 10 and 14, and over 14 years old, respectively. The course for the youngest runners will take place within the grounds of sports center, with two modalities: the first with a distance of 800 meters and the second of 1,500 meters. Those over 14 years of age will run a circuit around the university campus with two modalities: 5 kilometers (1 lap) and 10 (2 laps), finishing inside the sports center.
The goal of the degree program is to raise funds for oncology treatments for children without resources in the Clínica Universidad de Navarra and for research in childhood cancer.
Registrations can be made through the website of La degree program de los Valientes until Saturday, the 16th, at 6 pm. Also, there is available dorsal 0 for those who can not run but wish to participate. Attendees will receive an official race bib, the degree program T-shirt, gifts from collaborating companies and will participate in a raffle at the end of the degree program.
During the test the road that crosses the campus of the University of Navarra will be closed. The parking lots available are those of Comedores, with entrance from Cizur, and sports center, with entrance from Cordovilla.
