eLearnia brings together some thirty educational institutions at the university

On May 7, the University hosted the ninth edition of the eLearnia meeting , an annual meeting that brings together emerging technologies in the field of online Education and training . The event was attended by representatives of thirty higher education centers, such as the University of the Basque Country, the University of Alcalá, the International University of Valencia, the Autonomous University of Barcelona, the Labor Foundation of Construction or the Planeta training and Universities group , among others.

Secundino Fernández, Vice President of the Office of Academic Affairs, opened the workshop. "All of us present here share the same focus, the student and his or her learning process. In this workshop there are experts in educational technologies, engineers, technology managers and teachers, so a meeting like this is very relevant, because all professionals add a lot to the project.

He added that it is essential not to focus on the technology itself, but to understand it as a tool to overcome difficulties. "Thanks to these technologies we will be able to open new paths that allow us to teach our knowledge and present it in such a way that students feel the advancement."

During the event, the role of Artificial Intelligence, some tools to integrate it into the teaching process or new digital learning opportunities, among others, were highlighted. The eLernia 2025 Awards were also submission .
