Dr. Jesús San Miguel, distinguished as "Physician of the Year" by ABC newspaper
The hematologist, director physician of the Clinic and director of Clinical and Translational Medicine of the University, receives the award in the IV edition of the awards for excellence "ABC Salud".
Dr. Jesús San Miguel Izquierdo, specialist in Hematology and Hemotherapy, director doctor of the Clínica Universidad de Navarra and Clinical and Translational Medicine of the University of Navarra, received the award "ABC Salud" "Doctor of the Year" award from the hands of the Minister of Health, Social Services and Equality, Alfonso Alonso. The members of the jury have thus decided to distinguish Jesús San Miguel as "one of the most prestigious European hematologists and current director of Clinical and Translational Medicine at the University of Navarra". director Dr. San Miguel is also the scientific director of the research center Médica Aplicada (CIMA) of the University of Navarra and Associate Dean of research of the School of Medicine of the same university.
Recognized as one of the leading international experts in myeloma, Jesús San Miguel is president-elect of the International Myeloma Society; coordinator of the Spanish Myeloma group ; founder and board member of the network European Myeloma Society and founder and board member of the International Myeloma Society.
