The Ministry of Economics subsidizes 18 projects of the University.

Relevant, ambitious and clearly international" works of the academic center will receive almost 540,000 euros.

The Ministry of Economics and Competitiveness of the Government of Spain has awarded 539,700 euros to 18 projects of research of the University of Navarra.

The call for Projects research and development of the Generation Subprogram knowledge, which is in the phase of proposal of resolution provisional, is a State Program for the Promotion of Scientific and Technical research . The Ministry finances work that is "relevant, ambitious and with a clear international projection", according to the program description.

The research projects have been classified into two categories: "Challenges", to which eight belong, and "Excellence", where ten are found. The institutes and Schools whose projects will be awarded grants are Institute for Culture and Society (3 works); the School of Communication (3); the IESE (3); the School of Law (2); the School of Economics (2); the School of Sciences (1); the School of Philosophy and Letters (1); and the School of Engineering (1).

The duration of the research projects is three years, with the exception of "La residency program fiscal desde la perspectiva del ordenamiento foral de Navarra", from School Law. In addition, one of the projects is predoctoral: "The nerves of war. Mobilization of military resources and construction of the Hispanic imperial monarchy in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries", from the School of Economics.

The grants, which are intended to finance " staff, small equipment, materials and other expenses related to the objectives of project", range from 6,700 to 63,000 euros.

Among the research projects that will receive a larger subsidy are: "Advances in Industrial Organization, Finance and Experimental Economics " (63,000 euros), from IESE; "Optimization of new lime restoration mortars through combinations of additives and pozzolanic mineral admixtures" (58.800), from the School of Sciences; "Ecopyme, integration of the circular Economics in SMEs" (50,000), from the School of Engineering; and "management of the relationship and communication with stakeholders in collaborative innovation processes in the business" (40,000), from the School of Communication.
