Carlos Mata, researcher and secretary of the group of research Siglo de Oro (GRISO) of the School of Philosophy y Letras of the University of Navarra, has been elected secretary of the association de Cervantistas. The appointment took place at the framework of the congress "Cervantes Global", held at Princeton University (United States) and co-organized by the association de Cervantistas and the Cervantes Society of America.
The presidency of this organization has also been renewed, position , which will be held by Ruth Fine, from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and Doctor Honoris Causa from the University of Navarra; and the vice-presidency, which has been entrusted to Alicia Villar, from the International University of Valencia.Francisco Cuevas, of the University of Chile, will continue as Treasurer at position .
The renewal of the board Board of Directors was completed with the election of five new members: Julia D'Onofrio (Universidad de Buenos Aires), Santiago A. López Navia (Universidad Internacional de La Rioja), Francisco Ramírez-Santacruz (Université de Fribourg), Fernando Rodríguez Mansilla (Hobart and William Smith Colleges) and Vijaya Venkataraman (University of Delhi).
