"What a blast, we made it!". This is how Cecilia de Vittori describes the feeling she had when she got off the stage. She and Andrea Cerrillo are fourth year students of Degree in Management Assistance and together they have participated in the traditional Concert of the University of Navarra in honor of St. Cecilia, held at the Museum Theater.

They performed on voice and piano Chandelier by Sia Furler and Jesse Shatkin. Together with them, the composer was group Íñigo Esain González, student of the School of Medicine. They chose the song "by chance" during a dinner party: "A friend suggested it to us, because, as he told us, our voices are very different and form a nice effect that could adapt well to this song," says Andrea.

For the two students this concert has a "special meaning" because throughout their university years they have forged "a beautiful friendship" that they say they wanted to "reinforce through music". Last year they tried to present a song, but in the end they did not succeed.

A classic performance of this concert is that of the Choir of the University of Navarra, of which both have been part in previous courses and in which Cecilia is still singing. "Music has always been part of my life," she says, who assures that also being able to pay homage to her Saint and patron saint is something "very important and beautiful".

A "classic" among students

The concert of St. Cecilia is a "classic" in the diary of the students of the University. Either because they play an instrument from an early age, sing or because they simply come to see the performance of their classmates from class.

It is one of the many offers that the Service of Cultural Activities Office makes available to students to enrich their academic life. Usually about a hundred students participate, among those who enroll in groups, individually or are members of the Choir and Orchestra of the University.
