Biologist Sergio Rejado will give a lecture at lecture on his experience at project in Madagascar.

The graduate in Biology from the University of Navarra has worked for three months in environmental conservation work in Africa.

Sergio Rejado Albaina, graduate in Biology at the School of Sciences of the University of Navarra, will give a talk next Monday, January 24, at classroom 4A02 (11.30 am) of the School of Sciences about the experience he has lived in the last three months in Madagascar, where he has participated in one of the projects of the WWF (World Wide Found for nature) to investigate the conservation and management of the forest corridor of Vondrozo, in the southeast of the island.

The WWF is an international organization that fights for the conservation of nature, with the goal to create a future in which man lives with nature in a sustainable way. In 2007 it created the project 'Exlore! Youth Volunteer Program', to give young people from all over the world the opportunity to learn about the reality of conservation in developing countries by participating in WWF's programs in these countries development .

The talk will serve to publicize the conservation activities of WWF, with special emphasis on Madagascar, where Rejado has been from September to December 2010, and will be aimed at students of Biology, especially those of the Environmental and Agricultural specialization program , although it will also be open to students of other Degrees, teachers and people interested in the subject. WWF also works in other countries such as Peru, Senegal, Bhutan, India and Fiji.
