173 students from 18 schools in Navarra participate in the Olympiad of Philosophy held at the University of Navarra.

The topic of this XII edition is about "Borders and global justice".

The School of Philosophy and Letters of the University has hosted the XII edition of the Olympiad of Philosophy. A total of 173 students of 3rd, 4th ESO and high school diploma, from 18 schools in Navarra, participated in the modalities of essay and philosophical photography and, for the first time, in the category of "Moral Dilemmas".

"Do political boundaries hinder or help to form a more just world?" is the question on which the 133 young people who entered the test competition at essay had to reflect. In the modality philosophical photography category, 27 entries were submitted, and in the "Moral Dilemmas" category, 13 schoolchildren competed.

The participating schools were: IES Marqués de Villena, IES Basoko, IES place de la Cruz, Luis Amigó, Sagrado Corazón, Irabia-Izaga, Miravalles-El Redín, Escolapios-Calasanz, San Cernin, San Ignacio, Nuestra Señora del Huerto, IES Benjamín de Tudela, IES Toki Ona BHI, IES Ibaialde, IES Tierra Estella, high school and seminar Padres Reparadores de Puente la Reina, IESO Valle del Aragón and Escolapios Tafalla.

Some of the objectives of the Olympiad at Philosophy are to encourage young people to reflect, think critically and engage in dialogue, and to consolidate and complement the content of philosophical subjects. It also seeks to establish links between the teachers of Philosophy in Navarre and to create spaces for speech between the teaching upper and secondary teaching .

The submission awards ceremony, which has the sponsorship of the School of Philosophy y Letras and the partnership of Kukuxumusu, the publishing house Chair , Librerías Troa, the department of Education of the Government of Navarra, and the high school Official Doctors and Graduates of Navarra, will take place next March at the University of Navarra.
