José María Calvo de las Fuentes passes away

On Thursday, April 17, José María Calvo de las Fuentes, a priest and former student at the University of Navarra, died in Pamplona at the age of 86. He was the manager of Communications for the Ecclesiastical Schools from 1984/85 until his retirement in May 2003.
Born in Villasarracino (Palencia, May 10, 1938), he graduated in Theology at the University of Navarra in 1968/69 and later, in March 1980, he defended his doctoral thesis entitled "San Antonio María Claret: Archbishop (1850-1870)", directed by Professor Domingo Ramos Lisón.
He was particularly concerned with the book that was published on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the School of Theology. Professor Emeritus César Izquierdo said of Don José María that "he was a man of great kindness and simplicity".
