The University is participating in the First Interuniversity Housing Forum to address the major challenges of accessing the housing system

The Government of Navarre, together with Nasuvinsa and the three universities in Navarre, has launched this partnership initiative to seek innovative solutions that promote access to decent housing

The Government of Navarre, in partnership Nasuvinsa, the University of Navarre, the Public University of Navarre, and the UNED in Tudela, has held the First Interuniversity Housing Forum, a pioneering initiative in the region that brought together public institutions, universities, and experts to analyze the issue of access to housing from a multidisciplinary perspective.

The opening ceremony was attended bytheThird Vice President and Regional Minister of Housing, Youth, and Migration Policy, Begoña Alfaro García, who described housing as “a core topic element core topic social cohesion that goes far beyond an economic asset.” She also highlighted the need to tackle this challenge ambition, partnership commitment” and emphasized the forum as “a milestone in Navarra” that places research at the center of discussion on housing. She also defended the importance of generating “better assessments, greater analytical capacity, and innovative proposals that respond to a changing reality.”

For his part, Juan Luis García, the Regional Minister for Universities, Innovation, and Digital Transformation, emphasized that “there can be no good public policies without sound knowledge , knowledge stressing that the challenge requires an approach on knowledge , committed, and necessarily multidisciplinary knowledge .” In this regard, he underscored the role of the university as core topic “better understanding reality and moving toward more effective solutions,” as well as the value of committee as a stable forum for academic cooperation that allows for the integration of different disciplines and approaches in the search for answers.

Also participating in the opening ceremony were Luis J. Fernández, director the UNED in Tudela; Javier Burón,General Manager NASUVINSA; and Carlos Naya, director the School of Architecture at the University of Navarra; and Begoña Vicente, director of development the research institutes the UPNA.
