The School of Nursing of the University of Navarra celebrated the graduation of the fifth promotion of Degree and sixty of the academic center. The event took place with the participation of 120 students who gathered with professors and family members to commemorate the end of their programs of study.
The event, organized in the auditorium of the Museum of the University of Navarra, was attended by Professor Juana María Senosiáin, elected godmother of the class who gave some advice to the new graduates based on the "Coping Strategies" of the participants in a study by research of the School on the coexistence of people with Parkinson's disease and their families. "These are tools that can help you in your life staff and professionally," she emphasized.
Thus, among them he emphasized "maintaining a positive, optimistic and fighting attitude towards illness and life. To face problems with energy. To show courage in the face of difficulties. To maintain a good mood in spite of adversity".
"You begin a new stage of life that may not be without difficulties, the search for work, the new horizons that open up, the uncertainty of the future... Life and what it entails is a challenge. How you face it depends on yourselves and your attitude," he added.
Finally, he encouraged them to "fulfill what society expects of you. You have and we have put a lot of effort into it. We have hope in you and you are committed to fulfill it. From now on, with your work you are the representatives of this School and of this University. You must leave your mark wherever you are!".
