Estudiantes de Biología y Bioquímica de la Universidad de Navarra visitan centros de investigación en Suecia
Biology students and Biochemistry from the University of Navarra visit research centers in Sweden.
Among others, they visited the Nobel Forum, where the Nobel Prizes in Medicine and Physiology are awarded.
A group fifteen biology students from the School of Science the University of Navarra traveled to Stockholm this summer to visit research centers located in the Swedish capital and its surrounding areas. Among other places, they visited laboratories research microbiology, research , oncology, and multiple sclerosis at the prestigious Karolinska Institute, part of Stockholm University.
The Nobel Forum, where the Nobel Prizes in Medicine and Physiology are awarded, is located in this scientific complex. Among the various companies that visited the group of students from the University of Navarra were Biovitrum, a company that researches rare diseases; and, outside the capital, the University of Uppsala.
The study trip was organized by Professor Pilar Lostao, Ph.D., and Miriam Latorre, Ph.D., administrative assistant at the School of Science. The students also had time to explore the city and visit some of its museums and palaces.
