Biology students and Biochemistry from the University of Navarra visit research centers in Sweden.

Among others, they visited the Nobel Forum, where the Nobel Prizes in Medicine and Physiology are awarded.

A group of fifteen Biology students from the School of Sciences of the University of Navarra have traveled this summer to Stockholm to visit scientific centers research located in the Swedish capital and its vicinity. Among others, they visited laboratories of microbiology, research with stem cells, oncology and multiple sclerosis of the prestigious high school Karolinska, at the Medical University of Stockholm.

The Nobel Forum, where the Nobel Prizes in Medicine and Physiology are awarded, is located in this scientific complex. Among the various companies that visited the group of students from the University of Navarra were Biovitrum, a company that researches rare diseases; and, outside the capital, the University of Uppsala.

The professional trip was organized by Professor Dr. Pilar Lostao and Dr. Miriam Latorre, administrative assistant Academic of the School of Sciences. In addition, the students had time to get to know the city and some of its museums and palaces.
