The Chair of Heritage and Navarrese Art of the School of Philosophy and Letters of the University, in partnership with the Friends of the Way of St. James - Center of programs of study Jacobean of Estella-Lizarra, has organized the XX conference of the Cultural Heritage "Estella, a patrimonial and Jacobean city". The activity, with the collaboration of the City Council of Estella and the French Way Federation, is part of the events to be held throughout the year on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Friends of the Camino de Santiago.
The cycle will take place on October 18, 19 and 20, at 19:30 pm, at the Casa de Cultura of Estella. The first session will focus on the Jacobean iconographic heritage and will be given by the historian Carmen Jusué. The second lecture will deal with the civil heritage of the municipality and will be given by Mikel Ramos, from the NAVARK archaeology office. The workshop will end with a discussion paper to position by Alejandro Aranda, from the Chair de Patrimonio y Arte Navarro, who will talk about the religious heritage of the city.
The attendance to the sessions is free until fill in capacity.
