The School of Nursing of the University of Navarra celebrated last June 13 the graduation of the promotions III Master's Degree in Palliative Care Nursing (MECP) and IV Master's Degree in Advanced internship and management in Nursing (MPAGE), a total of 19 postgraduates: 10 and 9, respectively.

Francisco Gay, professor at IESE and Master's Degree at internship Advanced and management in Nursing, gave the keynote address speech , highlighting the duty of service to society that comes with having received this training. To contextualize his message, he focused on organizations as "spaces of freedom and learning," where all people must assume that both the raison d'être of the business and their own professional performance in it "are only justified in terms of the common good. In this way, Professor Gay encouraged postgraduates to carry out their work with the responsibility and enthusiasm of being "leaders of evolution, progress and social change".

Then, the delegates of each class, Aroia Iraola (MPAGE) and María Olaz (MECP), took the floor. Both expressed their gratitude for the human and scientifictraining received, together with the professionalism, availability and closeness of the professors and the staff organizers of the masters. During the postgraduate program, according to Iraola, "in addition to knowledge, we have accumulated a treasure and a beautiful responsibility that involves transferring all the human and scientific training acquired to ensure and provide quality care to our patients and their families".

In this way, he insisted in his speech, "we will contribute to the advancement of our discipline and nursing profession". Olaz emphasized that in the Master's Degree they have been able to "count on highly qualified teachers, recognized nationally and internationally, who have been able to transmit knowledge about palliative care with great affection". At the same time, she highlighted"the professional growth and staff that you experience once you have finished the Master's Degree ", since, according to the Pamplona native, "it makes you realize what is really important in our lives".

The ceremony was presided over by the then dean of the School, María Isabel Saracíbar, who was accompanied by the directors of the masters María Arantzamendi (MECP) and Navidad Canga (MPAGE) and the General Manager of the School José María Arévalo.
