The School of Pharmacy inaugurates its 2014-2015 Open Doors conference
More than 70 people learned about the Degrees Pharmacy and Human Nutrition and Dietetics through theoretical and practical sessions.
The School of Pharmacy inaugurated this November 15 the first conference Open Doors of the 2014-2015 academic year. More than 70 people came to campus in Pamplona to get to know the Degrees Pharmacy and Human Nutrition and Dietetics. Most of them came from the neighboring areas of Navarra and also from Cantabria, Madrid and Malaga.
After the documentation submission , the various parallel events began, some for students and others for family members and companions. Under the guidance of expert teachers from the academic center, the prospective students carried out a internship consisting of "the search for the source of eternal youth". At laboratory they were able to try out some advances in the field of food and pharmacy to treat Alzheimer's disease. Meanwhile, their families and companions got to know the facilities of the School visiting characteristic spaces such as the classroom Pharmacy internship, the classroom Simulation of enquiry Dietetics or the laboratory of Biochemistry .
Afterwards, a meeting took place in which Alberto Pérez Mediavilla, Associate Dean of Alumni, offered the attendees information about the peculiarities of the School of Pharmacy of the University of Navarra.
The workshop ended after a general session on scholarships at Central Building of the university.
