Four University architects participate in an international project on energy efficiency.

Adapt4EE involves institutions, universities and companies from Greece, Spain, Germany, the Netherlands and Portugal.

César Martín Gómez, María Eguaras, Iñaki Esteban and Marina Vidaurre, researchers at School of Architecture of the University of Navarra, are participating in the European Union's international project 'Adapt 4EE', whose goal is the improvement of energy efficiency at Building.

The initiative, which will end in October 2014, involves nine institutions, universities and companies from Greece, Spain, Germany, the Netherlands, Germany and Portugal, with funding of 3,630,000 euros.

The project will create an open source software, compatible with the different programs commonly used by architects and engineers in Europe, which will allow the introduction of human behavior as a variable in the improvement of the energy efficiency of buildings and facilities.

César Martín Gómez and María Eguaras attended the meeting launch of 'Adapt 4EE' in Thessaloniki (Greece), as researcher of the School and contract researcher, respectively.
