Care for the environment, people and self-care, topic of the XIV edition of the Philosophy Olympiad, held at the University of Navarra.
119 ESO and high school diploma students from 15 schools in Navarra participated in the event.

The local phase of the Philosophy Olympiad brought together 119 students of ESO and high school diploma, from 15 schools in Navarra, at the University of Navarra. The young people had to reflect, in the categories of moral dilemmas, essay and philosophical photography, on the issue of care, from the care of the environment, through the care of people, to self-care.
Alejandro Martínez Carrasco, professor at the School of Philosophy and Letters of the University of Navarra and member of the organizing committee , highlighted "the interest that, once again this year, the Philosophy Olympiad awakens in young people". He also stressed the involvement of teachers who, "with great enthusiasm, collaborate with the Olympiad to provide their students with an experience of free reflection".
These have been the participating centers: Calasanz Escolapios, IES Basoko, IES Ibaialde, IES La Paz, IES Navarro Villoslada, IES place de la Cruz, IES Tafalla, Liceo Monjardín, Luis Amigó, Miravalles-El Redín, Sagrado Corazón, San Cernin, San Francisco Javier (Tudela), San Ignacio and Vedruna.
The awards submission will be held on February 28th at the University of Navarra.
The Olympiad of Philosophy, which counts with the partnership of Kukuxumusu, the publishing house Chair , Librerías Troa, the department of Education of the Government of Navarra, and the high school Oficial de Doctores y Licenciados de Navarra, seeks to encourage reflection, critical thinking and dialogue in young people, as well as to consolidate and complement the contents of philosophical subjects. It also seeks to establish links between the teachers of Philosophy of Navarra and to create spaces of communication between the teaching superior and the teaching secondary school.
