REPORT
12 young people with disabilities, special educational needs or from rural areas have participated this year in 'Campus Inclusivos. Campus sin límites'. Since the first edition, 64 people have taken part in the program and 9 of them have gone on to study at the University.

In its concern for the most vulnerable people, the University has hosted the VI edition of the program "Campus Inclusive, Campus without Limits". The participants were able to get to know the academic center up close and carry out activities related to the different professional careers: trial simulations, resolution of clinical cases in the Simulation Center or drawing workshops.

Students from different Schools have accompanied these young people so that they could enjoy their stay to the fullest and feel fully welcomed. This is the case of Javier Martí, student of 5th year of ADE and Law, or Nuria Peregrín, 3rd year student of Biochemistry , two of the 20 collaborating students who have lent their financial aid.

Degree The 12 young people -10 with some kind of disability or special educational needs and 2 from rural areas- who participated in this edition have lived with them. In one week they have taken part in the academic, cultural and sporting life, and have learned first-hand about the university experience.

Tomás Gómez-Acebo, Vice President de Alumni

"Their presence on classroom is an encouragement; they make us better teachers, students and staff of the University."

Javier Martín
5th grade Business Administration and Law

Nuria Peregrín
3º Biochemistry

"I have been collaborating in this program for two years, which has made me grow in humility. I come to help, but many times I come out more helped."

"When you see a person with a disability, the first thing you feel is compassion, but as you talk to them you realize that they are a thousand steps ahead of you. Then, you are able to eliminate any barriers."
