The University of Navarra and the Government of Navarra sign an agreement agreement for students to carry out internships in environmental issues.

The agreement between these institutions will allow students to carry out internships in the areas of agriculture, livestock, rural development and environment.

The University of Navarra and the department of development Rural and Environment of the Government of Navarra have signed a agreement so that students of Degree and postgraduate program can access to specialized practices in this public institution, as well as fill in its training in the areas of agriculture, livestock, development rural and environment. The agreement has been initialed by the counselor Begoña Sanzberro and by Ignacio Uría Rodríguez, director General Manager of the Foundation business-University of Navarra, and the Public University of Navarra (UPNA) has also joined the project.

The training internships are aimed, on the one hand, at students of the University of Navarra who have passed 50% of the credits required to obtain the university degree scroll whose studies they are taking, and students of third cycle; and on the other hand, at university graduates, whether or not they have been students of the university that subscribes the agreement, provided that they are enrolled in postgraduate program courses organized and/or given by these centers or their foundations business and have not previously worked at work in a paid professional capacity related to degree program.

These students will attend as "listeners" to practical situations that cannot be seen in class such as soil testing, actions against fire blight (a pest subject ) or inspections in livestock facilities, among others. The duration of the practices of these educational cooperation programs may not exceed 500 hours/academic year, unless there are well-founded reasons that advise a longer duration which, in any case, may not exceed 600 hours/academic year, or 12 months.

The department of development Rural and Environment collaborates through this agreement with the formative work of the University of Navarra by making it possible for its students to acquire a preparation fundamentally internship, specialized and adequate to their university training and that facilitates their future incorporation to the market of work. The agreement will have a duration of three years, and will be automatically extended for equal periods of time.
