This online course, taught by professors from School of Sciences, is offered by Miriadax and has already had more than 4,500 enrolled students.
This week the MOOC(Massive Online Open Courses) course "Environmental challenges in a changing world", taught by six professors from the School of Sciences of the University of Navarra: Juana Fernández, Enrique Baquero, David Galicia, Rafael Miranda, Arturo Ariño and Jordi Puig, has begun to be taught.
Divided into seven modules to be studied between October 17 and November 24, the course is available through the Miriadax platform and already has more than 4,500 registrants.
His goal is to give a scientific and informative vision of the current state of the planet and the environmental challenges that arise. "To holistically address the current status from the ecological point of view, we will develop the main threats to the planet from the point of view of pollutants, human activity and biodiversity, analyze the effects of environmental impact and the accelerated extinction of species, while raising vital attitudes to environmental challenges from the pragmatic, social, conceptual and contemplative point of view," explains Professor Rafael Miranda, coordinator of the course.
After completing the MOOC, students will receive certificates of participation and course completion.
