Researchers from Ceit and Integrasys S.A., under the supervision of representatives of the San Sebastian and Gipuzkoa fire departments, have tested a device for locating people in emergency situations on Mount Ulia in San Sebastian.

These tests are a first step to validate the technology developed within project AIOSAT, whose goal is to exploit the options of the European Galileo positioning system.

AIOSAT is a project funded by the European Union in the framework of the H2020 program and is coordinated by Ceit, a member of BRTA. This project is aligned with the development ICT strategy of Ceit.
